As you know, Black Mountain North Carolina was devastated by Hurricane Helene. Efforts have been underway by Adventures in Missions to bring skilled hands and obedient hearts to the cause. After visiting with Chris and Sara Horvath, our family has felt the call. We are hoping to make it to Black Mountain from August 1st to August 8th. We will be helping rebuild homes, spreading the Good News of the Gospel, and helping the community in any way we can.

The amount we are trying to raise will help pay for our travel, other expenses, and support our household as we do not have the financial means to miss a week and a half of work.

God calls us to be obedient, and no matter the money raised, we will go. The call is strong, and with faith in Him, we can do all things. Although our family does not have the financial means to be of support in that way, we have strong backs and skilled hands. Please help us put them to use for the Lord, and for the people of Black Mountain.

Any proceeds raised above and beyond the requested amount will go directly to Adventures in Missions to further support their cause. We hope to make this a regular mission for our family. When the Spirit moves, we move. The Lord has been so good to us. If you know Maura and I's story, we have so much to be grateful for. We want to give back in the best way we can, so we seek the support of others to do so. By supporting us in this mission you are becoming partners in our goal; to glorify Christ through good works in His name, to spread the Good News.
