There are moments in life that change everything and for me, that moment came when I heard the word cancer.

It didn’t feel real at first. I remember sitting there, trying to process what the doctor was saying, hoping I had misunderstood. But the truth slowly sank in, and in that moment, my world changed completely. Fear, confusion, and uncertainty took over in ways I had never experienced before.

Since that day, life has become a battle I never asked for. Cancer has not only affected my body, but it has also shaken me emotionally and mentally. The pain, the hospital visits, the endless tests, and the exhaustion it’s something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Some days I feel strong, but other days, it’s hard just to get through.

The hardest part is not just fighting the illness, but facing the reality of the cost of treatment. The medications, hospital care, and procedures are overwhelming financially. I am doing everything I can, but it is simply not enough. And that is a truth that has been incredibly difficult to accept.

I am not ready to give up. I still have dreams, people I love, and a life I want to continue living. I want to wake up one day and feel like myself again. I want to laugh without pain, to breathe without fear, and to live without this constant shadow hanging over me.

But I cannot do this alone.
