Hey family and friends!! We are wrapping up our third week of FCM here in YWAM Belize and it's been incredible.. amazing.. freeing.. and we have gained so many tools already to help us counsel others in our ministry in the future. The beginning of this week outreach was announced! After prayer, I have felt confirmation that I am to go to outreach. I went into this school with outreach on my heart, knowing this would help drive home the counseling tools we have been gaining through our lecture phase here at YWAM Dp. We are going to (drum roll)... CALAIS, FRANCE!!!! We will be heading there in September, and will be doing ministry work in the refugee camp there in Calais. Our team is super excited, but we are needing funds... because I am STILL also raising for lectures.. the total due as of July 22 is $4660!
I am asking for people to donate and partner with us as we go on this incredible mission!! Whether it be $2 to however much God is laying on your heart! We are trusting in God to meet this need, so we can continue to spread His love! <3
In 50 days, I'll be flying out to YWAM Destination Paradise base in San Pedro, Belize! That's less than two months! I am so excited, and realizing that it's time to start packing and preparing!
I am still fundraising! And within this next week be announcing my next big fundraiser...all donations at any time are of course welcome.. I want to thank everyone so much for their help! And also to the ones who have stepped up and said they would like to become monthly supporters... as this is something I haven't mentioned to anyone except God.. this is definitely an option. My goal is to become a full time missionary, and with this next step, I am praying for people to partner with me as I continue to pursue full time missions.
It's been really awesome the past couple of weeks. My sister has helped me SO MUCH! She is busy cross stitching gifts for those who donated for my first deadline (she'll be sending them to me as soon as they are finished, and I'll be mailing them out to each of you who donated <3 I've had a lot of fun picking out special ones for each person! :) ).
She also held a bake sale/yard sale for my trip a couple of weeks back, and raised money! She messaged me stories of people who didn't find anything to buy, but would donate when they just heard my story. It touched my heart, knowing these people will probably never meet me.. and yet they wanted to help reach others, just as much as I do! That's awesome!!
I'll be sending another newsletter out this week.. so if you would be interested in receiving one, please message me with your email address! I'll also have a new blog post coming out soon! So keep an eye out for that at countitalljoyphotography.blogspot.com
Counting it all joy, Jessyca
