Exciting Ministry Updates & What’s Next for Our Family

We are so grateful for everyone who has prayed for, encouraged, and supported our family. As we look ahead to this next season, we are excited to share how God continues to open doors for ministry and growth.

Ashlyn is continuing to serve women and families through her doula business by teaching childbirth and postpartum education and providing emotional and physical support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. She is also gaining valuable hands-on experience as a birth attendant while training under a local midwife. It has been a blessing to walk alongside families during such an important season of their lives and to continue growing in maternal health ministry.

At the same time, Darrell has felt God calling him to go deeper into His Word. This July, he will attend a three-month Bible school through YWAM Ships Kona, where students study through the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Each week, experienced teachers and speakers bring fresh insight and wisdom, helping students build a strong biblical foundation and grow in their understanding of God and His purposes.

We are also celebrating a big family milestone as Nash begins his very first year of kindergarten! We are excited to watch him learn, grow, and step into this new season.

Following the Bible school, our family plans to travel to Mazatlán, Mexico, for an extended outreach. Ashlyn hopes to continue partnering in maternal health ministry, serving women and families alongside local ministries, while Darrell will have opportunities to share what he has learned and help equip students at the YWAM Mazatlán base.
