On February 20, 2025, our dear friend Cody’s life took an unexpected turn when he was struck by a car while riding his motorcycle. While we are incredibly grateful that he survived, he has suffered severe injuries, including a shattered left leg. Doctors are working tirelessly to save it, but the possibility of amputation remains. Regardless of the outcome, Cody faces a long and uncertain road to recovery, requiring multiple surgeries, extensive medical treatment, and rehabilitation.
In addition to the physical and emotional challenges ahead, the financial burden is overwhelming. Cody does not have health insurance, leaving him to face mounting medical expenses, hospital stays, and the potential cost of a prosthetic. Beyond medical care, he also needs assistance covering unexpected costs such as transportation, therapy, and specialized equipment. We are also hoping to bring Cody back to New York this summer to continue his recovery closer to home.
Cody is an artist, a creator, and an inspiration to so many. His passion for drawing, painting, and tattooing has touched countless lives, and we know he will fight with everything he has to heal and rebuild his life. But he can’t do it alone.
We are reaching out to family, friends, and compassionate supporters to ask for any help you can offer—whether it’s a donation, sharing this message, or keeping Cody in your thoughts and prayers. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference in his recovery.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this incredibly challenging time. Together, we can help Cody heal, rebuild, and get back to doing what he loves.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Cody’s Family and Friends
Sending healing wishes!
We love you soooo much!

Cody has undergone six surgeries in an effort to save his leg below the knee. Unfortunately, due to the complexity of his injuries and the challenges with the skin graft, the doctors are now leaning towards amputation. While this is incredibly difficult news, Cody is preparing for the possibility of life as an amputee with strength and resilience.
Please keep him in your thoughts as he navigates this tough journey. 💙 #StayStrongCody

AUCTION in support of Cody James. A wonderful friend, member of this community here in the 518, & local tattoo artist.
This past Thursday 2/20/25, Cody was struck by a vehicle while riding his motorcycle and thrown from the bike. He is now facing a huge head injury and leg injury with the possibility of amputation still not off the table. We are so lucky he is alive and breathing although he has a long road ahead of him with surgery and rehabilitation, I wanted to do my part and donate ALL PROCEEDS from this auction to assist with the recovery ahead. Please please please share with everyone you know! We are starting this off at just $1, increasing in increments of $5 minimum. Auction ends 3/25 8 pm EST! He’s awake and conscious, but we still have a long road ahead. He’s made it through some tough days, and while he still has his left limb, we know there are multiple surgeries left in the coming weeks. We’re taking it day by day, staying hopeful, and trusting in the progress he’s making. We’re not out of the woods yet, but every day is a step forward. Your support has been a huge source of strength for us during this time. Thank you❣️

We want to share an update on Cody’s recovery. Over the past few days, he has undergone multiple surgeries, and while part of his left leg has been stabilized, the other half remains uncertain. Doctors are doing everything they can, but there is still a possibility that he may need an amputation.
The good news is that Cody is now awake and breathing on his own! His strength and resilience continue to inspire us all. While his journey is far from over, we are holding onto hope and supporting him every step of the way.
Please continue to keep Cody in your thoughts and prayers. Your love, support, and kind messages mean the world to him and everyone by his side. We’ll share more updates as we have them.

The accident happened on Thursday night (2/20) around 8 PM while Cody was on his way home. We don’t have many details yet, but we do know he was struck by a car and thrown from his bike.
Cody was wearing a helmet, which helped protect him on impact, but it came off after he landed. He suffered a significant head injury, with a large portion of his forehead and scalp being affected. Thankfully, the doctors were able to sew it back on, and despite the severity of the wound, there is no brain damage or internal bleeding—a huge miracle!
We are incredibly grateful for this and will continue to update everyone as we learn more. Thank you all for your love, support, and prayers. It truly means the world.
