Hi, I’m Kristen — aka Momma, Nana, Coach, Sis, Daughter, and lover of both the ocean and the mountains.

On November 6, I opened a biopsy result that changed my life.

Stage III lymphoma — cancer of the blood — spread throughout my lymphatic system. It was completely unexpected. And while it hasn't reached my organs, the sense of urgency is real. I’m doing everything I can to keep it that way.

I’ve chosen to pursue an integrative healing path that honors both science and spirit — not because I’m afraid of traditional treatment, but because my immune system is already compromised, and my focus is on building a body environment where cancer simply cannot thrive.

I will begin with an initial phase of advanced, local, non-toxic therapies focused on detoxification and strengthening my immune system. This preparatory phase will last approximately two months and is designed to support my body before moving into the next stage of more intense medical immunotherapy.

After that, I will travel to a hospital in Mexico to receive personalized cell-based immunotherapy. I will then continue with structured follow-up care that includes targeted immune therapies and recovery support.

Why This Matters So Much

This diagnosis is not the end of my story — it’s the beginning of a healing season I plan to walk through with grit, grace and God’s guidance.

I believe healing is possible — not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. I believe in a God who makes a way where there is no way, and I’m walking this path with faith, even when the next steps are hard to see.

There’s so much still ahead — and so much I still feel called to do:

Asking for help doesn’t come easily to me — I’ve been fiercely independent since childhood. This diagnosis is teaching me to receive. To lean in. To accept the strength of community and the grace that comes with letting others hold space for you when you’re walking through the fire.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you... when you walk through the fire, you will not be burned.” — Isaiah 43:2
