SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED. We are less than 10 days away from our PHASE 1 app launch. I'm fighting tears as I type this. You have given so so much. We are a good ways from our end goal of $50,000, but when I asked the development team, "Is there ANYTHING we can give them, ANYTHING we could offer for the gifts that have already so generously come in?" And through prayer and some brainstorming sessions, we laid out a roadmap for 3 phases of the app and began coding and designing for what PHASE 1 would look like as well as determining a launch date-- as long as the app store cooperates (haha!), we should have it available August 1!! With INTERNATIONAL release!! We are now anticipating approx $3,600 in legal fees for the trademark/copyright process, which has been met with another MATCH CAMPAIGN until Sunday, July 24! Any funds received beyond that $3,600 (which would be beyond $16,600) will go DIRECTLY to the funding and building for PHASE 2, which will unlock additional app features!! Would you take a moment with us to THANK our Father for His faithfulness thus far?! And then please pray with us that He continues to press the hearts of those He would be a part of this to give? None of us can do this alone. I am so so so very grateful to every single one of you!! Oh how my heart is leaping to be this close to the beginning of something we'd only dreamed of until now!! 

An investor (a spiritual one, not one who desires profit through this on earth but in eternity while making an impact for the Kingdom here on earth) saw a preview of our app and wanted to bless each dollar that came in this weekend by DOUBLING it!! Any and all gifts that come in until midnight TONIGHT will have TWICE the impact!! We are SO grateful!!! Glory to God!! 💚👑🎬

WOW. To each of you who has helped us get to this point... THANK YOU. With ALL my heart. TOMORROW morning at 10 am EST we will be giving supporters ONLY a private peek at the prototype for feedback- if you have given any amount up to this point, we invite you to be a part of our official LAUNCH team, providing feedback from this point on about the features you most want to see and what rolls out first! We couldn't have gotten this far without you and want to honor your sacrifice and generosity. We are so so grateful for you! Tomorrow's promo video will be available for replay for anyone who can't join us at 10 am, and you'll ALL be given a chance to provide some thoughts together as we move forward- you'll also be given the first chance to create your profiles when the time comes! We have come SO FAR!! And there is much work still to do-- but what FUN it is when we work together in this incredible family- the #CCfamily.

It’s LOGO time...!!! 

The team is currently working on multiple logo design options for our new interactive film directory!!! WHA???!!!!

We are currently at $5,814- which means...

🔥PHASE 1 is..... COMPLETE! The $5,000 has been sent to Grooters (have you seen what they do?! It is excellence and beyond!!!!!! I wanted only the best for our King as we pursue this project.)

🔥PHASE 2 has already raised $814 toward rolling out different features!!! PHASE 1 gives us the prototype and allows some surface interaction to show you just what the full app/site will be able to do- can you believe it?! The CCfamily and beyond will have our own place to connect, outside social media barriers dividing us by IG, FB, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc... and we will have our own little “Narnia” where we can get together anytime, from anywhere, and we can connect, collaborate and create like never before!! 

Can you tell I’m THRILLED about watching this come to life?! For years now folks have told me... “Laura, this would be AMAZING. We’d totally use it. People have talked about doing something like this for years but no one has ever really done it...”

But I must say- YOU get all the credit for this, #CCfamily.  💚 YOU have prayed. YOU have given. YOU have accomplished together what I never EVER could have on my own. 💚😭

5 days ago... I posted the following update to our FB group. In these last 5 days it’s been almost nonstop communication getting things rolling, so I’m just now getting to post here....!! I am still weeping in gratitude of your generosity and God’s goodness. 

😭💚YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!💚😭

I wanted to do a quick FB live to say thank you... but I am weeping and can barely hold myself together and am so weak in the knees I almost just fell to the floor.

Someone just anonymously gave $2,300 to get us to the $5,000 mark to OFFICIALLY begin building our interactive CC Christian Film Directory. 

I can hardly breathe and just keep whispering THANK YOU, LORD. THANK YOU, LORD. THANK YOU, LORD. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE continue to lead and guide having YOUR way in this project. 

I’ll try to do a FB live soon- and the work is just beginning—

But we are officially breaking ground, everyone. 

And every single one of you who gave so sacrificially were such a precious part of what has been started.

For so long... FOR SO LONG... I’ve prayed and sought God’s heart on this... for so long I’ve asked Him, HOW, Lord?? He just kept saying to press on.
