Buddy was a stray senior cat who had been abandoned in the neighborhood for many years and was very fond of kids, which is how he found my family.

He kept hanging around protecting us and being our guardian angel.

A few months after he found us, our mom passed away, and he continues to help us in the recovery from that.

Not only does he comfort his clan, but he also protects the ones he loves.

The other day, our family was heartbroken to hear he was hit by a car.

My family and I rushed him to the emergency room with multiple injuries.

We are confident that he will overcome this, just as he has in all his previous battles. Our Buddy (AKA Rocky) is a survivor, and he has also taught us how to survive no matter the battle. He has been in many a fight and has always come out on top.

This time, he just needs a little bit of help to win this round.
