Bryte is our wild, adventurous little 6 year old. She was diagnosed with an extremely rare genetic condition when she was two months old. Recently this genetic condition has started to cause her brain to rapidly decline. As a result we are seeing increased seizure activity, increased pain and irritability and developmental regression. The doctor cannot give a specific timeline but has shared that she is now terminal and we need to consider if we want to focus on length of life or quality of life, as many of the treatment options will significantly decrease her quality her life, and are not guaranteed to work. Right now, we are seeking support so that the pressure of my income can be reduced and I can be home with her as much as possible while we still have her. 

Bryte’s doctor is placing her on hospital home bound care. As a family we are still dependent on my income, and although I will continue to work on a limited basis (as I truly believe my work is a way that God has called me to serve him) it will be significantly less. As a 1099 contractor I do not have any benefits for time off. Therefore, we are asking for support to compensate my lost wages as I am home with Bryte. Please do not feel obligated to give, and please know that any support will be greatly appreciated. Our goals right now are to be with Bryte as much as possible, to let her be adventurous and wild, and to provide opportunities for her siblings to build lasting memories with her.
