On Sunday, March 16th, the Cocchimiglio Family headed to Lehigh Valley Hospital following the direction of a concerned doctor at an urgent care clinic. After a week of persistent fever, continued fatigue, and escalating cold symptoms, their oldest daughter Brynlee was admitted and the medical team observed concerning symptoms. Extensive testing began that night, resulting in the need for a blood transfusion due to low hemoglobin levels.

On Monday, March 17th, Faith and Sam received terrible, unexpected news: Brynlee was diagnosed with Leukemia. Since that day, the family has supported Brynlee in the hospital as she starts her treatment journey. They have also been juggling care for their two younger girls. The medical team at LVHN expects her chemotherapy treatment to continue for at least two years.

The family has experienced God’s incredible provision in that the expenses from their hospital stay is expected to be covered completely by Medicaid PH95. However, the road ahead of them will be filled with doctor’s appointments, missed days at work, and additional expenses. Many people in the community have asked how they can support the family, so this page was created to provide an avenue for monetary donations to be received.
