Many of us have been blessed with wonderful dads. Others, unfortunately, had no father figure at all. Maybe your dad was kind and present—or perhaps distant, or even harsh. Maybe he was someone whose love you longed for, but never quite felt.

Whatever your experience, there’s a deep longing inside every human heart for the steady presence of someone strong, kind, and safe—someone who knows you fully and loves you just the same.
This Father’s Day, let’s also take a moment to celebrate the One who is Father to each of us.

God is not a stained-glass image or a list of rules. He is the very One who dreamed your life into being, who formed your heart in love, and who watches over you with tender strength. He’s not looking for perfection, and He’s not measuring your worth by your performance.

He is a loving Father who lifts your chin when you’re discouraged, holds you closer than any friend when you’re afraid, and celebrates even your smallest steps toward healing and wholeness.
Even if you’ve never called Him “Father,” He has always loved you as one.

You are not forgotten.
You are not abandoned.
You are not too much—or too little.

You are seen, loved, and wanted by your Father—on Father’s Day and every day. Not because of anything you’ve done, but because of who He is: the perfect Father, always waiting with open arms—just for you.

Psalm 103:13 – “As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.”

Luke 15:20 – “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him, and kissed him.”
