Wow—so many of you joined our
60-Day Habit of Hope challenge this summer, taking on daily hope missions and making hope a part of your everyday life. And speaking of hope…we’ve seen it show up BIG on GiveSendGo these past few months.
All summer long, ordinary people have stepped up and started campaigns that embodied hope and generosity—proving that when hope is shared, lives are changed.
We’re calling them
Hope Heroes—and their stories are too good not to share!
1. Supporting Diana Byrnes
When a friend saw Diana struggling after years of painful injuries, they stepped in and started a campaign on her behalf—to share hope with her during a very difficult season. Diana has endured chronic pain for years and recently underwent critical spine surgery. The journey to recovery is long and costly, but the support she’s receiving is helping cover medical bills, rehabilitation, and in-home care. What could have felt like an isolating battle has instead become a story of community, generosity, and hope.

2. Help Anisa Bring Hope to Kids
Anisa grew up in rural Bangladesh with very little, but from a young age, she had a dream—to share the love of Jesus with children in her community. She’s now pursuing that dream by studying children’s ministry at Cedarville University in the U.S. Her tuition is covered, but she still needs help with her living expenses while she studies. This campaign is giving her the stability she needs to focus on preparing for the work God has called her to. Someday soon, Anisa will return home equipped to bring hope to countless children who are longing for it.

3. I’m Ella! Help Me Be a Joyful Giver
Ella is only 13, but she already has the kind of vision and generosity many adults aspire to. Living with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) hasn’t stopped her from dreaming big. Her goal? To launch a nonprofit called Joyful Giver that provides practical help to families in need—like groceries, clothing, or baby supplies. This campaign is raising the funds to get her started and give her the tools she needs to bring her vision to life. Ella is proof that no one is too young to make a lasting impact.

4. Visiting Street Kids with Breakfast & The Gospel
For over ten years, this campaign leader has been faithfully visiting street kids—offering them not just food, but love, care, and the truth of the gospel. Many of these children come from heartbreaking situations: most don’t live with their mothers, and many don’t even know their fathers’ names. Their days are spent on the streets, vulnerable to unhealthy influences. Through regular visits with healthy meals, crafts, and Bible lessons, these kids are receiving nourishment for both body and soul. And now, the campaign is expanding—developing a farm project to grow fresh vegetables and raise fish, providing long-term food security for the children they serve.

5. Hope Challenge – Heartland Ranch
Heartland Ranch is on a mission to create a safe, healing refuge for trafficked and abused children. These kids have endured unimaginable pain, but through therapy, education, and the daily love of a stable home, they’re finding the courage to rebuild their lives. This campaign is inviting people everywhere to join the mission—showing how even the smallest acts of generosity can contribute to lifelong healing and restoration. Hope is rising in a place where it’s needed most.
