Yep, that’s nearly 60 hours of our lives spent hunting for wallets, remote controls, phone chargers — or that one pair of scissors everyone swears they didn’t touch.

We’re surrounded by stuff — and more often than not, we forget what we even have.

• What if you bought something new intentionally for the purpose of giving it to someone in need?

It’s not about the size or the price tag. It’s about the posture of your heart. Because when you give something that costs you a little, it means a whole lot more.

“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” — 2 Corinthians 9:7
 

Radical Generosity Reflects a Radical God

God didn’t hold back what was most precious to Him — He gave us His Son. Jesus didn’t withhold His love, His time, His healing, or even His life. He poured it all out freely, and He calls us to follow His example.

“Freely you have received; freely give.” — Matthew 10:8

Giving something away — especially something you love or value— is a powerful, countercultural act. It tells the world that people matter more than things. It says, “I’m not owned by my stuff. I use it to serve.”

And it reflects a Kingdom way of living:
Open-handed. Trusting God for His provision. And radically generous.
