Missionaries For Blind Children is a group of like minded people on our mission team at Quest Presbyterian Church who have dedicated themselves to supporting Blind and Physically disabled children at the Salvation Army School for the Blind and Visually impaired  in Kingston Jamaica. These Blind Children who often have other disabilities are in dire need of everything from the clothes on their backs to the food they eat while in residence at the school. We also support the facility needs and equipment needed to teach Blind Children how to become productive and self sustaining citizens of the country and world.  We travel at our own costs to the school each year and provide the help needed at the school while we are there. This includes shopping for food, clothes, shoes, flip flops, kitchen supplies and equipment, laundry equipment, and personal hygiene articles. We have supplied advanced technology tools and equipment for there computer classes as they learn to use screen reading software. We have a Jamaican Patty party and ice cream social each year which is two raise their spirits and provide some immediate joy to their days. We involve ourselves in their learning classes and devotional times to help them understand how much God loves them.
This trip each year is also the highlight of our mission team work where we can see the fruits of all God provides us to support these Beautiful Blind Children. We pray you will find it in your hearts to help us provide for these incredible children. 100% of all the funds we raise throughout the year at church and through donations goes directly to support this mission. There are no administrative costs as our missionaries fund their own trip expenses.
