I think we all know what it feels like, to feel stuck — despite our best efforts. To be in a difficult place and feel like there is little to no way out, around, or forward. 

That place can certainly feel frustrating, overwhelming, and disheartening - but we serve a God who is greater than any obstacle that could ever be thrown before us, and a Father who wants to provide for each of us more than we can even imagine. We are also simultaneously called to serve each other. 

I have followed Andrea (Appalachian_Amen) for years, and I have watched her faithfully serve her family and community through 2 floods, funerals, and some of the most unimaginable loss and heartbreak. She has done so determined, tired, and even when her own family was in need — because that’s what good neighbors do. She is currently in a season of caregiving again, and simultaneously needs some care herself.

She has also shared her life with each of us so freely, openly and honestly. As some of you may or may not know, Andrea’s family has been trying to secure a reliable vehicle for close to a year, but now an even bigger stress has come up having found mold and rot in their home that is making the floors crumble. This help they need isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. 

It is my greatest hope that we can now serve Andrea. Please help me shower Andrea and her family with prayers, love, and a financial blessing to help them make repairs to their home and possibly secure a reliable vehicle after all the home repairs are made. 

Dearest Heavenly Father, thank you so much for blessing us with the gift of your beloved daughter Andrea. What a fierce, loving, compassionate, kind, funny, nurturing, incredible human she is. Lord I humbly ask that you bless each person who feels called to give freely to this cause — that their generosity is returned back to them tenfold. I pray that You would help Andrea lay her burdens at Your feet, “be still and know” in this season, and gratefully accept the love and blessings that others may want to bless her and her family with.

Lord, I pray that you always keep your hand upon Andrea, her family, and her home. I pray this all in Jesus name. Amen!
