We are raising money to purchase a new location and for its remodel, in order to accommodate the growing number of people coming to encounter the glory of God. 


How it all started...
The Basement was birthed from two different ministries, when “The Gathering” and “Explode for Christ” merged we formed "Explode for Christ Ministries." In our early days we would meet in local churches, and as time went on the ministry began to search for its own building. The goal of our search was to find a place where all would find freedom to worship and experience the life changing power of Jesus Christ. We began using our Tuesday prayer meetings to intercede for a building to host GODS Presence. Additionally, we asked God to provide a unique space, something that would appeal to people that would not normally attend church. God heard our hearts and provided that space, and after a little elbow grease and much prayer, Explode For Christ Ministries opened its doors as “THE BASEMENT”.

Where we are headed...
We are willingly and actively seeking the face of almighty God for a move that will shake the foundation of northwest Georgia. We believe that people will come into The Basement and find a relationship with Jesus Christ like never before. We believe HIS presence will set a fire in them to live out The Great Commission. OUR GOAL IS TO EMPTY HELL AND FILL HEAVEN!

Be apart of our story...
Due to the growing number of revival seekers we are now on the move... once again we have prayed and once again GOD CAME THROUGH! We are offically under contract on a 17000 sqft building! We have so many ideas and dreams for the new building, including community outreach, addiiction recovery, feeding and clothing those in need. Addionally we will have the space to host large gatherings and provide a home for more hearts seeking revival!
