Thank you for your interest in our campaign. We have redirected our efforts to other areas of the parish.

The priests and catechist receive no funds from the diocese. They manage thirteen churches and 41,000 parishioners. One of the churches was destroyed in Cyclone Freddie in 2024 and has not been rebuilt. Malawi is the one of the five poorest countries in the world. It is landlocked and has limited economic resources.

At this time, we are focused on providing funds for the monthly needs of the priests. This amounts to $782.00 per month, excluding food and household products. These funds are in addition to the Sunday collection, offerings for a Mass to be said for a loved one or a special occasion, and outright contributions on which they rely.

Several major donors have come forward to meet the most urgent needs previously published. We are very grateful to a physician from Florida and another angel from Chicago whose generosity alleviated the deplorable living conditions of the priests' rectory and to construct the first fresh water borehole in the parish. The water borehole was blessed on March 27, 2026. For the first time people have clean drinking water. They no longer need to go to a local water hole to get dirty water for their family.
