🌟 It's been 10 years since I held my little Greysen Enrique Rodriguez in my arms, but it feels like yesterday when his tiny hand slipped from mine. The unimaginable pain of losing him has shaped every beat of my heart since then—every moment filled with loss and longing.

💔 When tragedy struck on November 1st, 2015, I crumbled under the weight of grief. Alcohol became my comfort in those dark times, but it only led to more pain and consequences for me and others. The path from that day has been scarred with mistakes—one of them taking years away from me when anger clouded better judgment. After encountering the person responsible ( have to say person because I can't bring myself to say the man responsible) I lashed out and attacked that person out of rage. I spent 7 years of my life in prison grieving and feeling hopeless and angry.

🌱 Now, here I am today, trying desperately to rebuild the shattered pieces of my life in Texas. Every step is a battle, but each one brings me closer to making things right again, especially for Greysen. His grave sits far from where I stand now—a constant reminder that something essential was taken away too soon. I wake up everymoning and watch the sunrise and think of him. I am not angry at this point in my life. The only feeling I can describe now is a feeling of profound emptiness and darkness. I will forever do all I can for any child whoever needs help. I have made it my mission in life to help everyone in need the little ones being at the forefront. Life is so precious. 

🤝 This campaign isn’t just about moving his gravesite; it’s about healing and bringing a piece of my son home. It's about reconnecting with the child who brought joy into our lives in those fleeting years before life's cruel twists took him from us forever. And I cannot do this alone.
