URGENT PRAYER REQUEST & MEDICAL FINANCIAL NEED |  ARI

Ari is now 13-years-old, but in 2021, when she was just 10, she was abducted by an organized grouped of armed men from her family.   Ari has spent the last three years being passed around, used, and abused in ways that are unimaginable.  This is the exact vulnerable population that TOB exists to support.  Last week, Ari failed in an attempt to escape her situation.  She was caught and her punishment was intended to break her... to crush her spirit and to be a warning to others.   Just 5 days ago, in front of a very large crowd, her persecutors used a metal pipe to shatter her jaw so they could remove her ability to speak and disform her face. If that wasn't enough, they then doused her with gasoline and set her on fire to cause disfigurement and bring shame.  This means of punishment was intended to leave a permanent shaming mark with intentional trauma and reminders that her captors have lifelong control and dominance over her... what they do not understand is the magnificence and the magnitude of the healing power of Jesus Christ that can eradicate shame and bring healing, hope, and a future!  Join us now and pray for Jesus to heal her emotionally and spiritually, in addition to her physical healing.

It's a true miracle that Ari is still alive.  She was wrapped up and carried across the Afghanistan border by other refugees this past weekend (June 20204).  Unfortunately, the country she now seeks refuge and mercy from, does not provide medical care for refugees.  And it will be 9 - 12months before we'll be able to move her elsewhere.  She will need immediate medical care that is only available in the capital city.  Our team is working with local government authorities, and they are now helping our team with the transport, paperwork, and initial hospital entry.  She needs us, as she doesn't have her family to help her, though we will soon begin the process to help locate them. Ari is now part of the T.O.B. Family and as long as she is in our care, we will do everything in our power to bring her health, wellness, open doors, dignity, and hope.

Her immediate medical needs will cost approximately €12,000 to €15,000 to cover the initial, required expenses. That's approximately $13,000 US upfront.
