For the past few years, our family has had the privilege of working closely with Bethlehem Crèche in Colombo, Sri Lanka. During this time, we’ve seen their work firsthand—the people, the mission, and the integrity behind it. This isn’t a cause we’ve supported casually; it’s one we know personally, and we fully stand behind the organization and its leadership.

Bethlehem Crèche’s mission is to support families with young children whose parents are navigating significant life challenges—such as unemployment, mental health struggles, or substance use. The crèche (daycare) provides a safe, stable environment for their children while parents access the support they need to regain stability and work toward long-term independence.

The organization operates with the support of the Archdiocese of Colombo, providing an added layer of oversight and accountability.

We’re launching a small fundraising effort to support Bethlehem Crèche in a meaningful, sustainable way:

• Helping build retirement support for their small but deeply committed staff

• Potentially funding an additional team member to expand their reach

These aren’t flashy needs—but they are essential. Supporting the people behind the mission helps ensure the work can continue and grow.

I don’t often put my name behind fundraising efforts, but I do so here without hesitation. I trust this organization, and I believe deeply in the impact they are making.
