My name is Davy, and I’m a hardworking tradesman and small business owner who has spent years building a plumbing business from the ground up to support my family. I have always believed in hard work, taking care of my responsibilities, and providing the best life I possibly can for the people depending on me.

This is one of the hardest and most humbling things I have ever had to do because I have never been someone who asks others for help.

Anyone who truly knows me will tell you that I work more than just about anyone they have ever met. I have always put my family and the children depending on us ahead of myself. I make sure the kids have what they need and often what they want before I ever think about myself. Most days I’m wearing stained work clothes that barely fit because every extra dollar has gone toward keeping a roof over our heads, food on the table, taking care of the children, and trying to keep my business alive.

Over the last few years, I poured everything I had into building my business. As many small business owners know, one major setback can create a chain reaction that becomes incredibly difficult to recover from when you are carrying everything on your own.

Our financial hardship began after a client refused to pay on a large job, leaving me responsible for supplier costs, materials, and business obligations that had already been committed to. As the owner and only employee of my company, there was nobody else to absorb the loss.
