We Remember Challenge

On June 1st, I embark on the "We Remember Challenge," a 1,000-kilometer bicycle pilgrimage undertaken in tribute to Pope Francis. This pilgrimage on wheels is designed to ignite conversations and actions aimed at combating antisemitism, bolstering religious tolerance, and fostering interfaith dialogue – causes held dear by Pope Francis himself. A key milestone on this path will be a trip to the Vatican on June 13th, where I'll participate in the Jubilee of Sport. From there, I'll rejoin the road for the "Ultimo addio," a poignant 6km bike ride from Vatican City to Santa Maria Maggiore, the tomb of the late Pontiff.

This entire endeavor is deeply rooted in my commitment to the broader "We Remember Challenge," a powerful campaign dedicated to cultivating collective remembrance and thoughtful reflection on the lessons of history. To facilitate this pilgrimage and its core mission, funds are being raised to cover essential supplies, logistical expenses, and related costs. Any surplus funds generated will be thoughtfully allocated to support future discussions and initiatives centered on the vital themes of remembrance, tolerance, and interfaith understanding.

Bike Route: Piłsudski Square (Warsaw) | The Black Madonna (Częstochowa) | The Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum (Oświęcim) | Family Home of John Paul II (Wadowice) | Bazylica Wadowice (Wadowice) | Divine Mercy Sanctuary (Kraków) | Lord’s Ark Church (Nowa Huta) | The Majdanek State Museum (Lublin)
