Michael Mukisa is serving Ugandan children and disabled people in need. He's been helping his community with food, shelter, medicine, and other basic needs for more than 3 years, since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. The children he helps, travel to a school two hours away each day, and he wants to provide transportation for them.
I first met Michael in 2020 through an online community, where he reached out to me with an opportunity to serve the underprivileged youth of his local community. Over the years, our relationship flourished into a meaningful friendship which has provided me much fellowship, growth in my faith, and many more opportunities to become involved in something larger than myself.
With help from a larger, global family, Michael and his organization can accomplish so much more. He has plans to build a permanent home for those he serves, and ultimately empower his community to prosper and rise above their circumstances. But right now, what he needs is a way to transport the children he helps to school, to enable them to grow into future pillars of the community.
Any donation that you can make will make a difference in these children's lives. All of the proceeds of this fundraiser will be transferred directly to Michael from me. I'm setting up this page and the account for donations so that he can focus on the work he's doing. Thank you and God bless!
