Victory Christian Academy has purchased a school building (802 Kinswood Lane, 63129) on approximately four acres in South St. Louis County, marking the first time in our 46 year history that Victory will own its own building and property! This opportunity is an enormous blessing from God and represents an answer to years of prayer and seeking for a place that VCA can plant, build, and grow with permanency and consistency for our families, teachers and staff.
As a discipleship school we partner with families to achieve these lofty goals set forth to us in Scripture (Proverbs 22:6) and we are asking you to partner with us to help achieve this vision together.
About the building
The new VCA building is situated on 3.88 acres along the south side of Hwy 255, situated between Lemay Ferry and Telegraph Roads. It was originally built as a school in 1963, and later expanded to accommodate a church. It is now going to be a school once again!
The first floor will accommodate grades K-4; the 2nd floor will house grades 5-8; and the 3rd floor will be renovated to fit the needs of VCA’s expanding high school. The roadmap and approximate costs to make this a reality are as follows:
PHASE I: Occupancy (complete Summer 2022)
$225,000: Sprinkler system installation
$7,000: Electrical upgrades
$2,000: Doors and security
$16,000: Interior flooring, drywall, security, and exterior signage
PHASE II: K-5th Readiness (complete Fall 2022)
$150,000: Demolition, framing, electrical, drywall, primer, paint, locker installation, classroom enlargement, bathroom expansion
PHASE III: Improvements/expansion (as funding permits)
Cost TBD: Windows, potential science lab, gymnasium, elevator accessibility
Pray: Prayer is a gift from God, and is the first and best gift you can give VCA. Prayer works and love wins!
Volunteer: Whether joining the VPO, working on facility projects, helping in the classroom, or just having a willingness to jump in when needed, we know that “volunteers rise up in the day of the Lord’s power!” (Psalm 110:3)
Teach: If you know someone who has a passion for the Lord and their subject, or if that describes you, please contact us.
Refer: Tell families and students about VCA. We advertise on various media platforms, but word of mouth is always the most effective tool!
Give: Any amount you can give is a blessing to VCA and an investment in the Kingdom. Remember, the widow who gave two mites (Luke 21:1-4) was commended by Jesus for giving more than all because she didn’t hold back – she gave sacrificially.
In addition to moving VCA to its new location, over the next two years VCA will continue to expand its high school. 9th grade was added last year, 10th grade this year, with grades 11 and 12 to follow. This means that in 2024, VCA will graduate its first senior class since 1999! We believe these graduates, and many more to come, will be well-prepared to live as bold Christian leaders in this world and will be invited to tables of influence in our communities and our nation, as they continue their journey after graduation.
