EDIT 2/2/26:  With the hearing extended from two days to four (potentially 5), legal fees are now expected to double.  Mr. Pappas has been funding his own legal defense, while the school board continues to rely on taxpayer dollars.  Although Mr. Pappas' expenses to date have been significantly less than what is anticipated for the month of January and February, the added days of hearings will substantially increase his personal costs.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has given so far.  In light of these new developments, we are raising our fundraising goal in hopes of continuing to offset his legal expenses and ease at least one area of stress during this process.
