Sorvisto Family

Campaign Created by: Ashley Aho

Goal: USD $20,000
Raised: USD $ 3,639
Jeremy Sorvisto went to the Capitol on January 6th to stand up for freedom and democracy. He was then arrested for exercising his 1st Amendment rights. His children were held at gunpoint while our house was ransacked and he was hauled off to jail on April 7th, 2021.

The DC judge has now sentenced him to 30 days in jail for parading, after being on probation since April.

Jeremy, a resident of Upper Michigan, must now leave his family in the dead of winter to deal with bills, snow and cold on their own.

Please help these victims of political persecution! God bless you and God bless America!

Thank you for all of your support! With the money I earned, I was able to pay my house taxes, so I didn\'t lose my house and was able to take care of my bills while I was on my forced work vacation and Jeremy was away. Thank you for all of your prayers and thoughts! God Bless You and God Bless America! Jeremy will be home soon to see his kids and family! Thank you!

Wrote a letter to my #politicalpriosner yesterday! So bittersweet. I wish more people would realize how much trauma 2021/22 so far has done to our family and another. From going on a vacation and picking up garbage that day, January 6th to our friend being arrested on January 20th, 2021. To the 3 months of the FBI stalking us at work and home in a gold F150 until April 7th, 2021 where they kicked in our door and had 12 FBI agents with riot shields kick in our door and point those guns and shields at my stepkids. How much we can and can\'t say. How many courts we have been through, how it is still affecting us. How our friend was in jail for 7.5 months and nobody is doing anything about the J6 Political Prisoners! Makes me sick.

On top of that, I had to take a forced leave from work for the last month due to mental health reasons. Although, it is illegal for them to do that, as I have a mental health condition, it was hard. They cant legally discrimate against me, fire me or force me to take leave over it.  The last month we had together, Jeremy had to work almost everyday to support us so I could have some sort of money to make it through this month. Been a rough month that\'s for sure.

Tuesday, February 15th. Jeremy Ryan Sorvisto Sr. was dropped off by me to federal prison to serve his sentence. Had to go through barred gates, talk to people through an intercom speaker, promise to not have drugs, alcohol, weapons or anything and were told "take the first left and then the send right and park there. Do not go anywhere else. What would happen if i went anywhere else? I parked, the Fed guy took him out of his car. He didn\\'t have time to say goodbye or give me one final hug and a kiss. Nothing.

Despite being vaccinated, he has to quarrantine for about a week. I\'ve been able to call him a few times, however we can\'t talk about much as there is not really much to talk about, being in quarrantine.

God Bless You and God Bless America! We are on the right side of history and it will be exposed soon! #MAGA

Update #4

On Tuesday, February 15th, Jeremy was dropped off in a federal prison camp to start his sentence. I have heard from him a few times so far. He is currently in quarantine for a week and is unable to do much of anything. He does not even know what time it is due to no clocks. Also. A watch is 85 dollars, but while he is is quarrrantine, he can only spend 35.

We spent out last day together on the 14th in Superior, WI. It was bittersweet. We were more anxious than anything though, but at least we got to spend some time together.

Hopefully, I can return to work again soon. About a month ago, they forcefully made me take leave for "mental health" reasons. Even though I can do the job fully despite all the FBI and stressers we\'ve been going through. It is what it is. They haven\'t called me back and I should\'ve been back a few days ago. Despite the minor setback, your support has helped me tremendously. I\'ve been doordashing as well to make money. Although, being in a small town, it\'s barely enough to get by. Thank you for all your support thus far! God Bkess you and God Bless America!

As of December 15th, 2021 the DOJ that was eager to sentence my fiancé has made it unclear when he will have to serve his sentence. In the meanwhile, he works as much as possible because I have recently experienced a forced vacation from work.
