Hello all, my name is Martin and I am organizing a collection for the unexpected passing of a colleague and friend, Shawn Burckure.

Shawn is a fellow union brother from the International Union of Elevator Contructors/Local #1 NYC. I have had the pleasure of knowing Shawn for approximately 10 years. During this time, I got to know him for the love he had for his wife, his dog, Garfunkel, his past hobbies of music, and his seasonal decorations that deserved recognition!

As many are aware, he passed away on 4/1/2026 in a traffic accident. I hope to get this collection to his wife to assist in any transaction she may have to take care of while dealing with her tragic loss
