Support Shauna Chrabaszcz as she continues to hold the Camrose UCP MLA, Jackie Lovely, accountable. Let’s work together to raise some of the upcoming lawyer fees for Shauna to defend herself against ridiculous accusations made by the UCP MLA Jackie Lovely. Shauna is facing Criminal Charges, carried out by a “Special Prosecutor” for “fear of personal injury.” Shauna has always been respectably vocal about holding our MLA accountable on many issues, including at the 2022 local UCP AGM in Camrose, when she held Jackie Lovely accountable for interfering in the Board of Directors elections last December. Six months later a criminal charge is the result of doing so.
When elected officials are fearful of being criticized, or held accountable for their poor choices, resorting to judicial terrorism is unacceptable. To financially and legally burden constituents as an act of vengeance, sends a threatening message to the rest of their constituency: "Comply or else!” This must be exposed and stopped. This is political retribution as the UCP MLA Jackie Lovely even stated in the disclosure how Shauna "switched sides" as Shauna was a campaign manager for a Candidate running against Jackie Lovely in the provincial election held in May of 2023. Criminal charges then came in June of 2023.
The local police in January 2023 investigated Jackie Lovely's claims and refused to press charges. But now there is a special prosecutor out of Edmonton assigned to the case as Jackie Lovely went over the heads of the local police. Shauna had to fight a Peace Bond which Jackie requested which would have forced Shauna not to be able to talk about how the MLA is doing this to her. The Peace Bond was denied because even the Special Prosecutor didn't have any information about the charges and what it was for. Every court appearance and time spent negotiating with the Special Prosecutor costs Shauna thousands of dollars in lawyer bills BUT also costs the taxpayers thousands because it is our tax dollars paying for the special prosecutor, the judge, and the justice system.
The outrageous accusations that the Camrose UCP MLA, Jackie Lovely has claimed that in the summer of 2022 while she was sleeping, she heard a woman and a man climb up to her third-floor balcony, tried the patio door, and since it was locked the individuals rearranged Jackie's patio furniture, then climbed back down. This outragous claim that it might have been Shauna is foolish as Shauna has mobility issues, and it is difficult for her to walk up a stairwell let alone scale a building. There is no record of this presumed attempted break-in as apparently no police were called.
Help Shauna expose this UCP MLA Jackie Lovely's manipulative behavior and the abusive use of the Justice system.
Is this how you want your Tax dollars spent?
Shauna's case can set a precedence. If this manipulating UCP MLA gets away with filing criminal charges because her own feelings or maybe shame made her "fearful of personal injury", because a constituent held them accountable... how many other MLAs will do the same? The power of the people will be lost forever due to the threat of individual financial ruin and judicial terrorism.
Help as SHAUNA FIGHTS BACK!
