Hello Everyone!

Thanks again for partnering with me through prayer and for sowing into this endeavor! We still have 13 days until departure and 16 out of the 110 have given! Praise the Lord! That's 94 left to go or 31.3 pledges per month for the 3 months. I know it may not seem like much on the surface, but it's coming and I believe in celebrating every win and giving Jesus the glory! I'm also praying that the Lord would show you what your portion is. Is He calling you to pray daily or weekly for me while I'm gone? Is He calling you to sow into this financially through a one time gift or a monthly gift for three months? Or is it all of the above?

I understand that times are hard for just about everyone right now but I also know that God's Kingdom is forever and that He is on the move. The Lord multiplies what we have when we join together!

Let me share with you another amazing story about God's faithfulness.

In June 2007, my church participated in a 40 day prayer and fast along with many other churches around the U.S. which would culminate in a 12 hour worship, prayer and fast meeting in Nashville, TN.

We didn't call the fast or the meeting. We partnered with TheCall ministry which had been founded in 2000. It was birthed out of a deep, burning desire to see the ending of abortion in America and God to send revival. Unbeknownst to me at the time, TheCall had been initiating 40 day fasts and then meetings for 6 years in various locations and stadiums. I was 18 years old when I saw the advertisement for TheCallNashville.

07.07.07 was the date the last 12 hours of the 40 day fast would be. My church wasn't going to go to Nashville but was going to livestream it.

Something happened though!

As I watched the video, calling young people especially to step out and be a part of this special time in history, I heard the Lord extend His own invitation.

I heard Jesus say "You need to be there."

And of course, like Moses and Jonah -- I doubted. I decided to tell God all my excuses:

"But Lord! It's all the way in Nashville, Tennessee! I've never driven out of the state of Florida by myself! Lord, I'm only 18, did You know that most hotels don't rent to 18 year olds?? And you have to have a credit card??? Lord, my parents will never let me go. Lord, my car..well, it may not make it!"

Wouldn't you know that God already was very much aware of all those factors?

I heard Him say back to me: "Do the research. Ask your parents."

So, I did. I found a decent hotel in a good part of town not far from the stadium that would allow an 18 year old with a debit card to rent a room. I added up the food and gas expenses. I sat on it for a week while praying. Then, I went to my parents, shared what the Lord had said and presented my plan to go and how I would do it and pay for it. I was so nervous! I really didn't know what they would say!

The Lord knew though.

They said I could GO but on two conditions:

1:I needed to have someone go with me.

2: Preferred I take a better car.

My sister, Erin, who was 17 at the time, had a good job at the bank and a very nice toyota truck. I instantly thought of her and asked if she would pray about going and gave her a timeline before departure. While praying and fasting, I continued to work toward saving the money, booking the hotel and even asking a potential back up in case my sister said no.

3 Days before I was supposed to leave, my sister said the Lord told her that she was to go and we were taking her truck.

What??!! Yes, we went.

It was an awesome experience and God showed up in so many ways!

It was 16 years this past July that we were there. The outcome came in 2022 when Roe vs Wade was overturned. TheCall hosted 22 years of these kind of fasts and prayer meetings through out the U.S. and my sister and I were honored to participate.

God was, is, and always will be faithful. It seems like such a small trip looking back now but it took alot of faith to step out in obedience and God provided the resources. We got to reap some of what had been sown for the 6 years prior and 15 years down the road last year, we saw the fruit.

It put a burning in our hearts to see our nation turn back to God, and cover the government and justice system in prayer.

Jesus is the only answer and He's worth stepping out in faith for.

At this moment, I cannot tell you what all the fruit will be from the seeds you sow into me as you step out in obedience to God's direction but I can tell you this based on the two stories I've shared so far:

One gift is much bigger than just one person or one mission trip. It's a seed that God uses for His Kingdom and His purposes which will always be more amazing than we can imagine!

And...it's always worth it. Jesus is always worth it.
