He was eventually freed, but a new fight has begun. Ryan has filed a lawsuit against the DOJ for their crimes against humanity. 

As a public figure, Ryan now struggles to find a job; whenever he does, he gets fired after a week or so, often because someone recognizes him as a Trump supporter. With the funds he seeks, Ryan plans to build a church where it is most needed, teaching those of other faiths how much Jesus loves them. He believes that Jesus would not ask them to leave but rather invite them to join him.
