Today, Wednesday, September 13, 2023, Jeff Reiss stepped into heaven and met his precious Savior face to face.

Some of his last words were, "So much to be thankful for. I love you." The Reiss family have felt your love and prayers. They have a tradition of planting a tree to commemorate special events. Sharon says that Psalm 1 has been running through her head this week as they said their farewells: "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly... But his DELIGHT is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water..."

As a lasting memorial to Jeff, instead of sending flowers, they asked me to set up this page, with the funds going toward the purchase and installation of a willow tree. Jeff & Sharon had talked about planting a willow tree, so they could watch their grandchildren play underneath it. If you would like to participate in that, you can follow the links here.
