🌍✈️We are raising funds to help our daughter, Nova-Luv, travel all the way to Germany in July 2026 for her first in-person medical study for her extremely rare genetic condition, Marbach-Schaaf Syndrome. Nova is one of only about 40 children in the entire world with this diagnosis. Because this condition is so rare, there are no specialists here in the United States who truly understand it. The only medical team actively researching and studying Marbach-Schaaf is located in Germany, and they have invited Nova to participate so they can better understand her specific genetic mutation and hopefully guide us toward better answers, resources, and long-term support.

This trip is something we cannot put a price on, because it represents hope for Nova’s future. It is a chance for us finally to sit across from experts who have seen other children like her, people who can help us understand what she may face, how to best support her development, and what medical needs may come as she grows. As parents, we want to give her every opportunity possible, especially when dealing with something so rare and unpredictable.

Unfortunately, the financial burden of international travel is incredibly heavy for our family. Flights, lodging for two weeks, transportation, food, missed work, medical prep, and disability-related travel needs add up to far more than we can afford on our own. We have exhausted many military and family assistance resources, and while we are grateful for all the help we’ve received, most programs cannot support overseas medical travel of this kind.

We are stepping out in faith and asking for help, from friends, family, our community, and anyone moved by Nova’s story. Every donation, every share, and every prayer truly matters. Your support helps lift a weight off our shoulders and brings us one step closer to getting Nova in front of the only specialists who can truly help guide her care.
