Our hearts are so broken. We lost Mark in the hospital fighting pneumonia for the 3rd time.

His scrawny and weak body couldn’t handle anymore. By now he had lost the ability to raise his arms, talk and eat and drink.

That is no way for anyone to live and least of all Mark. He was so brave and strong all the way up to the last minutes. And from when he got really sick May 15th it took about an hour from his oxygen dropped till he was gone. And for the first 40minutes he would squeeze my hand and look at me. Then he got weaker and they gave him painkillers to make sure he was not in pain. He would drift off. He died at 4:30pm.

I have to thank you all for helping us financially through this. You guys helped where the government refused him. And me.

It’s a shame that headed without any financial support from them. It’s a big shame. And that I didnt get any support being his only caregiver.

Now I just want him to have the funeral and service he also deserves. Not to mention a place to ground him. All these things are costly and any contribution helps.

As soon as I can find my footing again I will be out working. That’s gonna feel good to support myself and our dogs.

You guys made sure I could care for him in a good way! All you guys did that!

We tried so many different things to help him.

Now he’s at peace. And I will be looking for signs everywhere every day that he’s still watching over us.

I really hope he is otherwise me talking out loud to him all the time will look and sound ridiculous. But I do believe he can hear me.

Mark was recently diagnosed with dementia, and while we are in the process of applying for every form of help available, we currently have no income coming in. Mark was denied disability, and I was told that I don’t qualify for caregiver assistance because I didn’t “lose income” this past year because I have spent the last year caring for him full-time and couldn’t work. 

We are doing everything we can to stay afloat during this difficult time, but we need support to cover our basic living expenses until proper assistance is approved or we can find alternative ways to earn an income.

My goal is to also be able to get Mark some Red Light Therapy in addition to the supplements he on. I know that can make such a huge difference from testimonials I’ve read.
