Lets Roll America

A profound Thank You to all who contributed to our Let's Roll America news coverage of The People's Convoy protesting the mask and vaccine mandates. The truckers also wanted the national declaration of emergency lifted and they made their point in a spectacular patriotic drive across the country. They received a breathtaking response by people who waved flags and cheered them on Interstate overpasses all across the country. It was an emotional moment for all of them. And our team as well. The outpouring of patriotism was just amazing.

Virtually everyone I talked to on those overpasses choked up during our interviews. More on this on one story than in my 50 year reporting career combined. It was that powerful. Their voices cracked, they struggled to retain their composure as they discussed the meaning of convoy and its freedom mission. Their patriotism, their concern for the freedoms of not just themselves but their children and grandchildren, brought them to those overpasses where they sometimes waited three and four hours in the bitter cold for the convoy to arrive.

Our team filed 21 video reports on the convoy. Plus I did more than 20 live reports for Steve Bannon's War Room, The Pete Santilli show and Chicago's WIND radio morning show with Dan and Amy.

My last report, featured above,  is titled "A Teachable Moment." It tells the story of parents who took their children to the rally instead of school on the day that the convoy rolled through their town. As one mother said, "They're going to learn more about what it means to be American here than they would in school today.

You can watch all of my reports at www.LetsRollAmerica.us. And please share that website with anyone and everyone.

Again, thank you for your financial support. While on the road, many people thanked me, in person and online, for our honest coverage on a story that the mainstream media ignored. You made that possible. But it's not over. A documentary is coming. I'll let you know when and where you can watch it. Thank you, John

Update #4
March 15, 2022
facebook twitter

While we\'re continuing to write and report on The People\'s Convoy, we\'ve begun work on our next big project: The Great Inflation of 2022. This will be a series of reports focusing on how rising prices are affecting people all across the country. I\'m asking for you to tell me your inflation story by emailing me at spirovideo@aol.com. This is another grass roots project focusing on the lives of everyday Americans. I was a personal finance and economics TV news reporter during the last Great Inflation which began in 1979. So, I\'m familiar with the broad outlines of the story but it\'s your personal stories that make for compelling reports. So, please send your stories to the email address above. Thank you. Thanks for your support of our news coverage of The People\'s Convoy. Since there was a virtual blackout by the mainstream media, our coverage — featured on Steve Bannon\'s War Room and all over social media, provided professional reporting that Americans rarely see. We covered the trucker convoy from California to Washington, DC. And we followed the truckers as they took their protest to the Washington Beltway, the Interstate in Maryland and Virginia that encircles the nation\'s capital.

You\'ll find all of our reports at our website: www.LetsRollAmerica.us. Thanks again for watching and contributing. We\'re in the process of making a documentary about the convoy. Stay tuned. Again, thanks for your support.

Trucker Convoy Update
February 18, 2022
facebook twitter

The trucker convoy from California to DC begins in just a few days. We\\'re gearing up for 2,500 miles of stories with truckers as they drive across the country. Maybe we\\'ll see you on an overpass along the route. I\\'ve been covering stories of all kinds for more than a half-century but nothing has ever been as big geographically as this. Lots of moving parts. That\\'s why we have a four man team to shoot and report.

We can only do this with your financial support. We appreciate your funding in the past. Whatever you can contribute for this project will go to good use. Thank you.

You can follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Gab.
