On Christmas Eve, Jerry Mason lost everything. Everything. Including his 2 dogs, Ziggy and Ginger. A fire broke out in his house and quickly spread, leaving most of the house burned and all his belongings lost to the flames. Receiving 3rd degree burns to his face, Jerry was able to escape with only the clothes on his back.

Shortly after the passing of his mother, Jerry moved from Southern California to retire in Mexia, TX, where he was able to purchase this home with the modest inheritance he received. Being on fixed income social security payments, he decided not to purchase homeowners insurance - making the horrible situation even more tragic. Family has set up a Give, Send, Go account in the hopes that they can raise funds to help Jerry once again have a home to call his own. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
