Back on September 12, my husband James was rushed to the ER due to having stroke like symptoms. He couldn't remember basic things like his name, birthday ect. and had a very hard time explaining his thoughts.

After many tests, they confirmed he had a brain mass the size of a golf ball that needed to be removed. He had 2 surgeries to remove the whole tumor. We found out that he had been diagnosed with high grade glioblastoma, although the charts at the time said differently.  They wanted him to do chemo/radiation but only gave him up to a year if he went through with the treatment. The prognosis wasn't great so we decided that it would be better to have quality of life and not go through such invasive, the body treatments.

We went months without incident, thinking that maybe he would be ok but on February 6th, James started having bad sinus pain. We thought it was a sinus infection but the pain got so bad, I ended up taking him to the ER on Sunday.. they did an CT scan and said there's nothing to treat, gave him pain meds and sent him home. By Monday evening, the pain was worse and he started showing signs of confusion with memory loss, so I rushed him over to a different ER. There, they did a CT scan and MRI and discovered his cancer grew back bigger and more aggressive than ever. They didn't want to do a 2nd surgery since the 1st wasn't successful and we didn't want to go through the treatments, so they sent my husband home on hospice. He has been losing more motor function and memory since being home and he hasn't had an appetite to eat.

We also have 2 young children together who have been greatly affected by this diagnosis. It's just so devastating thinking we may lose him. Im trying to keep everything as normal as possible for them while we are going through this. It just breaks my heart seeing my children hurting.

I also haven't been able to work since he needs 24 hr care. We are in financial need of help right now. With a heavy heart, I may also need to start thinking of other arraignments and will need financial help with that too. If you feel led to give we would greatly appreciate it.
