Dear Friend,
My name is Leslie Wilson , and I am reaching out with a humble request for help during a very difficult time in my life. For the past several months, I have been a full‑time caregiver for my two grandsons, as well as for a friend’s two teenage sons and their elderly mother after the sudden passing of their husband and father.I quit my job to be there for these children and their grandmother so they would have stability and care while their mother was away grieving and trying to cope with her loss.To make all of this possible, I relied on my only vehicle, an older Mercedes I was able to purchase from a wrecking yard for $3,000. It has been the nicest car I have ever owned, but it has had a persistent check‑engine light that has prevented me from getting the car smogged and properly registered with plates. I have used this car every day to travel across town to care for my grandsons while my I am a caregiver for my grandson and as well as my friend's children and mother my friend's husband passed away and she took off should have gone for 2 months I've been caring for her two teenage boys and her mother as well as going all the way across town do you care for my two grandsons while my son works about a week ago I was pulled over by law enforcement because my Mercedes all the way I've had it for a year and a half I've never been able to get the check engine light to go off so that I may get it smogged and it's never had plates because I bought it from a wrecking yard it only cost me $3,000 but it was been the nicest car that I've ever owned anyway back to the story law enforcement pulled me over and pounded my vehicle even though my friend has returned to care for her children I am now stuck without a vehicle I just need someone to help me to pay the repair and impounded fees so that I can get my car in the road and begin you my life again as it is I am unable to gain employment due to lack of transportation and am now homeless because of my friends return home to resume her duties as a mother I have no money saved I was not giving any money to care for the children as a matter of fact I quit a job to care for them as they boys had lost their mother and father on the same time that is my story please help me anyway you can I need perplexity to write a letter to get someone to donate money to my causeHere is a letter you can copy, paste, and adjust for emails, social media, churches, community groups, or local businesses. It uses common fundraising and hardship‑letter best practices: be personal, clear about the hardship, specific about what you need, and explain the impact of help.[1][2][3][4]***## Donation request letterDear Friend,My name is [Your Name], and I am reaching out with a humble request for help during a very difficult time in my life. I have used this car every day to travel across town to care for my grandsons while my son works, and to care for my friend’s boys and their grandmother.[3]About a week ago, I was pulled over by law enforcement because of the registration issue, and my car was impounded .Even though my friend has now returned home to resume caring for her children, I am left without a vehicle, no savings, and no permanent place to live, because I had been staying with them while helping the family. Without transportation, I am unable to look for or keep a job, and I am currently homeless.I am asking for financial help specifically to cover:- The impound and towing fees to release my car - The repairs needed so that it can pass smog - The costs to register the vehicle legally so I can drive it again My estimate is that I will need approximately $4,000 to cover these expenses, though any amount you can give will make a real difference.Getting my car back on the road will allow me to find and maintain employment, continue caring for my grandsons, and work toward stable housing again. If you are able, would you please consider donating to help me meet this goal? Your generosity will directly help a grandmother regain her independence and continue caring for the children who rely on her every day.If you cannot give, sharing my story with others who might be able to help would also mean a great deal.Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my story and considering my request. Your kindness and support in this moment could truly change the course of my life.Sincerely, Leslie Wilson.
