The opportunity has been presented to me and a team of 3 other girls to travel to Kenya and stay with and volunteer for a few different non-profit organizations in the city of Nakuru, Kenya. Our friend, and fellow sister In Christ, Devon from our church of New Hope Chapel of Plymouth, is living in Nakuru permanently as a teacher and also volunteering for these non-profits in her spare time. Devon's obedience to Christ to move over to Kenya and serve the people there is inspiring and being able to see the work she is doing as well as be apart of it is the opportunity of a lifetime.

Here is how my costs break down:
Airline Ticket: $800-$1000
Housing: $90-100 ($10/day for 10 days)
Food: $100  (includes all 10 days)
Tourist Visa: $50
Vaccinations: covered by insurance
Spending money: I will be providing myself

My goal is to raise $1300.

We will be in the city of Nakuru, Kenya. It is the 4th largest city in the country, 3 hours Northwest of Narobi, the country's capital. Nakuru is a cosmopolitan city with nearly 310,000 people. I'm looking forward to exploring and being an instrument of minisry in this city.

Our service in Nakura, Kenya includes two special needs organizations:
1. Nathan Hall Williams Center
2. Pink Elephant
Both of these organizations will include service to special needs children.
In addition to these, we will also be working with a Christian-Kenyan family who run a baby orphanage, as well as missionary friends of Devon in the local church. There's going to be alot to see, do, and experience during our time on the field. All of this will be done in the name of  Jesus with a servant's heart. Please consider supporting me financially and praying, as well as my team as we prepare to travel. Thank you!
