Jim Rutherford & His Family

Campaign Created by: Giovanna Hudson (Dori’s Sister)

Goal : USD $40,000
Raised : USD $ 56,774

This Campaign is currently disabled and can not receive new donations.

On the evening of June 30, after a fun-filled day at the pool with his entire family, Jim Rutherford suffered a brain hemorrhage, which caused severe and extensive damage. He has been in the hospital since then and has not yet regained consciousness. An MRI brain scan revealed, and doctors have confirmed, that at this point, he needs a medical miracle. So …we pray for one!
The Rutherford family has been overwhelmed by the outreach from friends and family asking what they can do to help and  our first request has always been for people to storm Heaven with prayers for Jim and Dori and their three young children.  However, at the urging of those closest to her, Dori has agreed to let us create this website for some of their family’s immediate and additional financial needs.
While no amount will ever be worth more than your prayers, we humbly offer you this means to donate directly to the family to cover expenses, such as for the ambulance, for copays and medical deductibles, and for other unanticipated expenses that the family may need to incur on short notice.
If you would like to contribute, please click the “Give Now” red button on the right-hand side of this page. The site will process your payment right there with a credit card (though WePay), and will charge the family a processing fee of 2.9% of every donation amount (slightly more for AmEx), plus 30 cents for each transaction. There is no additional cost to you or to Jim’s family for maintaining this site.

On behalf of Jim, his family, and his friends, thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and any contributions you are able and willing to make!
