Three days ago, I got a devastating diagnosis of stage 4 lymphoma—a shock that felt like my entire world had crumbled within just one heartbeat. My husband was a good father, a loving partner, a human being who touched many lives—and I want to honor that memory by giving myself every chance possible to be there for his grandchildren one day soon.
