Hey everyone! For those who may not already know me, my name is Carl Margolis and I’m raising funds to help cover the cost of traveling with my family from Sacramento, California to Fefor, Norway to compete in the World’s Strongest Stone Lifter Competition — one of the most iconic events in international strongman sport.

This opportunity represents a major milestone in my personal journey as an athlete. I’ve trained for years to qualify for this level of competition, and now I’ve earned the chance to test my strength against some of the world’s best in a setting that honors tradition, grit, and physical excellence.

The financial costs of such a journey are high for a family like mine from Sacramento, CA. We’re not looking for charity but rather shared dreams and support to make this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity possible.

Our goal is to raise ~ $10,000.00 to cover the following expenses for our family:

• Airfare (round trip from Sacramento to Oslo): approx. $4,500.00
• Ground transportation to Fefor: approx. $500.00
• Hotel accommodations near the competition venue: approx. $2,200
• Meals and daily expenses: approx. $1,800.00
• Competition entry fees and gear: approx. $1,000.00

We’re budgeting carefully and prioritizing value, but international travel with a family adds up quickly. Your support will help us make this trip possible without compromising our basic needs or training focus.
