I am collecting funds from any generous souls willing to help ease the financial burdens of an unexpected passing. My mother Sandra was elderly and disabled and had been suffering from several life threatening respiratory issues and was in and out of hospitals and convalescent facilities for months on end. She had previously been living with her caretaker and relative until a falling out over rent money not paid as a result of hospitalization led to her eviction, even with her in such fragile condition. I did what I could to try and help her but with her condition limiting her mobility and ability to go places and manage her own finances, I wasn't able to do much without legal authority over her which she wasn't ready to give out of fear of loss of independence. I myself am unemployed at the moment or I would have simply taken her in myself without a second thought. She had an incident of lung failure while hospitalized from which she seemingly recovered in March and I spent every day visiting her until the day she passed recently. The doctors tried to keep me and her optimistic and didn't let on to just how serious it was until the decline came on so fast it was unable to be missed. It still doesn't feel real because I was with her talking and laughing one moment and it feels like she was gone the next. Any and all help is appreciated and will go towards addressing the financial costs of her burial and memorial, thank you in advance
