Not that I approve of adults calling children racial slurs, but free speech should be protected, and no one should ever have their family's lives put in danger over such speech, even when said speech is inappropriate. I also sympathize with people pushing back against the Original Sin movement of "white guilt," which is far more frightening and repugnant than racial slurs. Enough is enough.
