My name is Noah Bacon. I was incarcerated at Ft. Dix prison for 7 months, 3 weeks, and 3 days because of my nonviolent presence on January 6th, 2021.

I was released from prison on Wednesday, April 8th. I am asking for small donations to help me get back on my feet. Along with my prison time I also paid a $2,000 fine, spent 2 years in pretrial probation, and have 2 years ahead of supervised release.

I was incarcerated past my release date because of a computer error in the prison system and spent 5 months trying to get it fixed. One of my charges, disorderly conduct 18:1752(a)(2), was mislabeled as 18:1751(a)(2), the criminal code for assassination. What should have been a simple fix ended up causing me to miss all my potential halfway house time and stopped me from leaving prison when I should have. After filing 3 requests for administrative remedy, reaching out to 2 NJ congressmen, and my family contacting a prison consultant, I was called to the office and told to pack up.

I am extremely grateful to be home and to have the support of a loving family. I feel sheepish asking for financial help, but also know that there are many people out there who would be happy to help. Thank you also to all the people who wrote me encouraging letters while I was in prison and to those who sent funds to my commissary account.

Funds received on this page will go towards personal use as I reintegrate. This may include university costs and related fees, buying a car to get to work, cost of court mandated psychological evaluation, etc. Any help is appreciated, but please don't feel obligated or pressured at all.
