Meet Ardin; at the age of four, his parents noticed physical anomalies that prompted them to seek medical advice. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy was the devastating diagnosis. (DMD). As Ardin has grown so to have his physical challenges and symptoms. These are gradually robbing him of the basic childhood pursuits of running, jumping and playing with his friends.
Ardin wants his life to have real and lasting value by participating in clinical trials and undergoing lengthy procedures, aimed at further understanding his condition. The travel to Worcester, Massachusetts to the Duchenne clinic at the University of Massachusetts, has yet to yield new treatment options, but the family maintains an unwavering hope that breakthroughs will emerge.
Ardin is now at a care level where travel and medical treatments are only a part of the financial burden. Both home renovations and vehicle modifications are now needed to keep Ardin at home with his family. The blueprints for renovations are ready, but the finances are not. The expense for making the necessary renovations and modifications is tremendous and is more than what the family is equipped to shoulder. This further highlights the need for better support and resources for families with disabled loved ones.
Ardin is a vibrant 16-year-old with a passion for science and technology, harboring dreams of furthering his education in these fields at the college level. Ardin possesses a remarkable intellect, coupled with an uplifting personality that brightens the lives of those around him.
This family expresses deep gratitude to those who stand with them, offering help wherever they can. With faith and the support of friends, they recognize the significance of community, knowing that it plays a crucial role in navigating the challenges faced.
We have an opportunity to come together to support this family in their journey with DMD. In addition to prayer, any financial support, whether great or small, is much appreciated and will go a long way in helping the Fisher family accommodate the needs of Ardin.

Well it’s a big job but this porch will help Ardin get in and out of the house. The 7 inch step was just too much to do so we have been working on getting it built. It will be worth the end result!
