Dear……,

  Isaiah 61:1- “The spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.”

  What an awesome God we serve!!!

  These past five years doing prison ministry have been extraordinary. God has healed so many broken hearts and lives, including my own. I never thought it would be possible for God to use someone like me. He has taken every broken place that our family has walked through and not only used it for our good, but has used it to show His glory. He truly is the God Who takes a mess and makes it His message every time.

  I have had the opportunity to serve with We Care Program as a part time missionary chaplain since October 2024. We have seen many men, who come from broken homes and street life, come to know Christ in a 6x8 cell. For example, brother Justin had spent his whole life running in the streets, doing drugs, and gang banging. He had fallen so low his own mama told him she had given up hope on him. She prayed day and night for her boy to get off drugs and for God to save him, even if it meant taking him home to save his soul from hell. A warrant was put out for his arrest, and he ended up in Santa Rosa Prison. He was placed in the psych dorm of Santa Rosa where Christ met him and flipped his life upside down. We went from talking to him in a cage in January 2026, to being able to submerge his old man in baptism and watching him come up a new man in Christ. Today Justin and many others have come to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. They may be in prison, but prison is no longer in them.

  I praise God for all He is doing in and through the lives of these men whom we have the opportunity to minister to every week. This ministry is made possible only by God’s grace, faithful prayer warriors, and faithful donors every month and year. Our board members at We Care have prayerfully sought the Lord and have offered enough funds for me to serve full time for up to a year. We are believing the Lord for partners to join in this ministry through prayer and finances, so that I can continue serving full time beyond this year. I invite you to consider being a part of my support team in any way God would place on your heart.

  Many do not have the time to go into the prisons or on the mission field, but through prayers and support, the kingdom of darkness is being torn apart one soul at a time. I pray as we partner in this ministry that God would bless you and together we can build His kingdom–making a difference in one life at a time.
