Dear Friends,

As my 26-year teaching career in public education draws to a close, I stand at a pivotal moment—a time for transition and contemplation. It has been my privilege to serve as the Grand Knight of Council #16393 and to chair the Board of the Loreto House, a cherished Catholic pregnancy center.

In the spirit of fresh beginnings and in honor of the path that has led me here, I've made a decision to walk the Camino Francés in the summer of 2024. This pilgrimage symbolizes the end of one chapter and the beginning of another in my life's journey. More significantly, I undertake this journey as a Knight of Columbus, not just for myself, but to pay homage to all Knights who may have yearned to tread this path but couldn't.

This pilgrimage holds a twofold purpose – it is both a personal quest and a mission to raise awareness and funds for the Loreto House. With every step, I carry the hopes, aspirations, and prayers of those who have entrusted me with their intentions. The journey will conclude with a visit to Lourdes, where I will offer the collective prayers and supplications to Our Lady of Lourdes.

I extend this invitation to my Knight's of Columbus brothers, friends, and family, inviting you to join me in this meaningful endeavor. Whether through financial assistance or the strength of prayer, your participation is invaluable.

I recognize the significance of this request, and I assure you that your support, in any form, will be deeply appreciated. I pledge to provide weekly updates, allowing us to stay connected throughout my journey. Even if you cannot contribute, know that I embark on this mission with unwavering resolve.
