Hi, our names are Nathan and Mai. We are a missionary couple living and serving in Thailand. Nate has been serving in Thailand since 2010 under a missions organization called YWAM (Youth With a Mission). Nate is a musician with a heart to see others growing in their knowledge of God and relationship with God in all aspects of their lives, and specifically has a goal to help teach and develop worshiping musicians through teaching music instruments, composition, music theory, recording and production. Nate recently completed his bachelors degree in music, with an emphasis in saxophone, at the School of Music, Payap University in Chiang Mai, Thailand. In Thailand Nate has spent much of his time working amongst a minority group, the Hmong people, and has a special place in his heart for the Hmong people. As well as being involved in Hmong communities and work amongst the Hmong he is also involved in Thai communities in the city of Chiang Mai.
Mai is a Thai/Hmong native. Mai finished her Bachelor's degree in accounting several years ago. Mai is planning to study a Dicipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM in Chiang Mai, Thailand later this year (2018). She looks forward to futhering her ability to teach and diciple young girls in Thailand.
Nate and Mai have been married nearly 3 years and have a young baby daughter Sammy who is 1 year old. Nate and Mai first met at a local Thai chruch in Chiang Mai when Nate came down from the mountain to visit for a National holiday, Songkran. While Nate was living in the city, working on his music degree, Nate and Mai attended the same church and their relationship developed from there.
Our vision is to build communities who will worship and follow Christ by using the gifts and abilities that God has given us to contribute to the Church, and to give them the tools and training they need to continue building their own communities that will continue to grow in knowledge and love of God.
If you would like to be a part of the work that we are doing in Thailand than please consider sending a donation, either one time or on a month to month basis.
Thank you for your consideration and may God bless you abundantly,
-Nathan and Mai
