A year ago August we learned that my husband had cirrhosis of the liver and needed a transplant.  We live an hour from the Houston liver center.  For the last 8 months we were driving back and forth at least once a week often more often.  Needless to say he hasn’t worked all year.  I’ve also had to cut back on my work schedule to drive him and support him at home.  In August of this year he was blessed with a new liver!  He’s doing very well except for a back issue he has now.  He can’t dry himself from the shower, bend over at all to put on socks or shoes or pants.  He’s now using a walker to get around.  We were hoping he would be back to work in December however we have no idea when at this point.  He is scheduled for an MRI today.  Some of his anti rejection medication is hundreds of dollars a month even after insurance pays their part.  We are struggling terribly.  We would first of all ask for prayers.  Whatever anyone can give will be more than appreciated however prayer is most important.  Thank you so much in advance.  It means more to us than you would ever know.  Kathy
