I've been immersed in the world of biblical archaeology for years, both as a Staff Researcher and Writer for the Associates for Biblical Research (ABR) at BibleArchaeology.org, and as a blogger at my own website - BibleArchaeologyReport.com. I'm also completing a Masters degree in Archaeology and Biblical History from Trinity Southwest University. As part of my course requirements, I must do four weeks of excavation.

In 2023, I completed two weeks of excavation at Shiloh, Israel with ABR. My wife and I have registered for Shiloh 2024. From May 20 - May 31, 2024, we will be excavating again at Shiloh with the ABR Team where I've been asked to serve as an Assistant Square Supervisor.

We're raising money to help cover the cost of this adventure (including $2100 USD/$2850 CAD each for accommodations, transportation and meals on dig days, as well as $2750 CAD each for airfare).

ABR's work at Shiloh is important as we search for the location of the tabernacle and discover evidence of Israelite occupation and worship there during the Late Bronze Age.
